The activity committee takes the lead in planning our activities (obviously) and making sure our members have lots of fun events to attend. Whether it’s a borrel, a bowling night, a trip to a theme park, or anything in between you can guarantee our activity committee has had a hand in making it happen 🙂
Academics & Career
The Academics and Career committee aims to get students more involved in the field of Linguistics, give them a taste of future careers, and help them with their studies. Whether it be guest lectures, language cafes, study sessions, or workshops, this committee helps students deepen their passion for linguistics in fun and engaging ways!

Study trip
Our amazing yearly study trip is organised by the study trip committee. Last year, we went to Copenhagen! Previous years have gone as far as Sweden, Italy, and even Brazil.

Joining a VOS committee is a great way to contribute to our study association and get invaluable experience in organizing events! No experience required - just a willingness to learn.
Committee Team Member applications are open on a rolling basis, so feel free to apply whenever you'd like!
